Steven D. Reich, MD

Dr. Steven Reich serves as the Vice President, Clinical Development of Actuate Therapeutics. Dr. Reich brings over 50 years of drug research experience with extensive knowledge of pharmacokinetics, mathematical modeling, and biostatistics. Prior to joining Actuate, Dr. Reich directed multi-national medical research groups within pharmaceutical (e.g., Pfizer, Bristol) and biotechnology companies (e.g., Biogen, Ligand) and a contract research organization (Parexel). Dr. Reich also headed clinical research programs leading to five US, one Canadian, and two European (by centralized procedure) drug approvals.

Trained as a Medical Oncologist as an NCI Fellow with Clinical Pharmacology experience, Dr. Reich served as an academically‑based investigator for Phase I‑III trials and designed and managed Phase I‑IV trials for industrial sponsors.

Dr. Reich is currently an independent, clinical research and development consultant to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the areas of strategic design of clinical programs and operational support of clinical trials.  Specialties include clinical operational plans, protocol development, report and standard operating procedures writing, and medical monitoring in the areas of cancer treatment and supportive care. Dr. Reich also has extensive experience with computerized database management, including programming.
